S O L A R D E C A T H L O N E U R O P E 2014 – COMPETITION

As one of 20 chosen teams, the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt under project monitoring of Prof. Ludwig Rongen had the honour to take part in the Solar Decathlon 2014 together with the american Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University (Providence USA).

The 75m² big pavilion wich was build from the involved students is the first textile passive house of the world. The flexible photovoltaics are making the building energy self-sufficient.
